Pastor Calvin Howard Sr. is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the 3rd of 5 children to The Late Pastor Otha Howard and Mother Eliza Howard. He is a graduate of Grace Bible College and Seminary in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is married to his love Lady Michele Howard and they have 9 children.

Pastor Calvin received the laying on of hands and prayer ordination in 1993 to preach, teach and minister the word of God under the leadership of the late Bishop M.J. Ellis at St. Paul Church of the first born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In 1994, Pastor Calvin’s father, The Late Pastor Otha Howard, The Late Mother Eliza Howard, Co Pastor Charles Dickens and Missionary Linda Dickens founded Divine Temple Church of the first born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pastor Calvin became a member and served as Ordained Elder and Chief Musician. Pastor Calvin remained faithful and helped in this ministry anyway he could. He truly loves the Lord, his family and church family and is a man after God’s heart. Pastor Calvin continued to grow in faith and in the word of our Lord Jesus Christ not knowing what God had in store for him.

In March 2017, the Lord call Pastor Otha Howard home and Pastor Calvin Howard was voted in as interim Pastor in May 2017. He operated in this capacity until he was voted in and ordained as Pastor in October 2017. Although this is not what Pastor Calvin wanted, God had a different plan and has led and continues to lead and order his footsteps.

Pastor Calvin operates as directed by God in the spiritual gifts and is a humble devout bible believing man of God who stands on the scripture:
For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. - Luke 1:49

With the guidance of his Late Bishop M.J. Ellis, Pastor and Father Otha Howard, other elders, ministers, evangelists, many prayers and his ministry training materials, Pastor Calvin in his short time has already impacted many lives. He has been anointed to bring the believer into a greater intimate covenant relationship and revelation of the father and often quotes some of the late Pastor Otha Howard words, that the only degree you need is “PCS”, (plain common sense), and the most important thing is that we have a personal relationship with God.
